Capitals acquire goalie Vickerman | TheAHL.com

Washington Capitals acquire goaltender Jesper Wakemanas well as a 2027 third-round pick and a 2029 second-round pick from the Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for the forward Nick Dodd.

The 23-year-old Vickman has played 18 games for the AHL Henderson Silver Knights this season, with a record of 8 wins, 7 draws and 3 losses, with a goals against average of 3.41 and a save percentage of 0.866.

In 41 AHL career games over four seasons, Vickman has a 16-18-5 record, a 3.48 GAA, an .880 save percentage, and one shutout. He was originally selected by Vegas in the fifth round of the 2020 NHL Draft.
