Rockford, IL – The Rockford IceHogs and the American Hockey League have announced more details about the AHL All-Star Classic, including information on AHL Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Ceremony, All-Star Classic Post-Game Party at the Rockford Hard Rock Casino, and Pregame block party in downtown Rockford.
this AHL Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Ceremony will be held Wednesday, February 11 11 a.m. inside the Coronado Theater. Chris Bourque, Alexandre Giroux, Jim Wiemer and Wendell Young were named the latest class of inductees by the AHL Hall of Fame Selection Committee. The AHL will also recognize All-Star Classic honorary captains and Blackhawks Stanley Cup champions Patrick Sharp and Kris Versteeg at the event.
The ceremony will be hosted by Roscoe, Ill., native and ESPN SportsCenter anchor Nicole Briscoe. Briscoe began her television career as a general assignment reporter at WREX-TV in Rockford and attended Northern Illinois University. She has held various roles in ESPN's NASCAR, MLB and Formula 1 coverage since 2008, becoming a SportsCenter anchor in 2015.
Admission to the ceremony is free and open to the public. Fans attending the event can park in the parking lot directly across from Coronado Stadium, event parking is $5. Parking spaces can be reserved at bit.ly/HOFParking.

Fans are invited to get the party started early each night in the city center before events start at BMO Center. The IceHogs, BMO Center and GoRockford will host Pregame block party from 4:00 pm arrive 5:30 pm Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons (weather permitting). There will be free s'mores, food trucks, winter drinks, fire pits, music, mascot appearances and more on Elm Street outside the BMO Center.
