Warriors targeting LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo: Report

Stephen Curry's championship window has closed, and now with the Jimmy Butler news, things don't look good unless the Warriors can bring in a big shot.
At present, the Golden State Warriors have no plans to trade Butler and his maximum salary after Butler suffered a season-ending cruciate ligament tear.
However, that could change if any big fish trade candidates emerge during the offseason.
As Jack Fisher explained, getting Curry to another championship will require a massive offseason trade.
“With news that the Milwaukee Bucks' Antetokounmpo is indeed available via trade this offseason, the Warriors would naturally be heavily involved in the trade package while also exploring the prospect of eventually pairing James with Stephen Curry once LeBron becomes an unrestricted free agent on June 30,” Fisher wrote.
Hall of Famer Reggie Miller urged Steph to call two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and bring him to the Bay Area.
“If I were Steph Curry, maybe I would open my Rolodex and maybe it's time to call a guy in the Midwest named Giannis Antetokounmpo,” Miller said on “The Dan Patrick Show.”
“And say, 'Look, what you did in Milwaukee was great. It was great. You brought them a championship, their first championship in 50 years. But now it's time. You're old. Of course I'm going to knock on Father Time's door.'”
The same thing happened to former Boston champion Kendrick Perkins.
“It's time. It's perfect timing. If I were Steph, right now, I'd let my light skin turn to a** green eyes, and I pick up the fucking phone. You know who I'm calling? I call Giannis and say 'Hey man, what are you waiting for? Damn, I need you and you need me. Let's make it happen now,'” Perkins said on a recent episode of “Road Trippin'.” podcast.
