Colorado Avalanche acquire forward Valtteri Pustinen From the Pittsburgh Penguins, along with their seventh-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft, in exchange for the defenseman Ilya Solovyov.
Pustinen will report to the Colorado Eagles, the Avalanche's American Hockey League affiliate.
This season, Pustinen played 35 games with the AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, contributing 7 goals and 19 assists for 26 points. In 252 games in five AHL seasons with the Penguins, Pustinen scored 72 goals and 103 assists for 175 points.
Pustinen was drafted by Pittsburgh in the seventh round of the 2019 NHL Draft and has seven goals and 17 assists in 66 career NHL games.
