The Iowa Wild are about to go out and they'll be unveiling a new look.
They host the Iowa Wild Outdoors Classic against the Milwaukee Admirals on Friday, January 23rd in Hastings, Minnesota. The event is the 13th outdoor game in AHL history and the first in Iowa and will be part of Hockey Days in Minnesota in 2026.

Their outdoor jerseys will feature a white base with “Iowa” outlined in cursive script and the team's signature dark green. There are dark green stripes on the bottom of the jersey and on the arms. Dark green also forms the shoulders, player numbers and nameplates (player names in white capital letters). The team will also wear green gloves, green pants and white socks.
The last outdoor game in the AHL is in January 2024 when the Charlotte Checkers host the Rochester Americans. Iowa's outdoor game is part of the AHL's busy midseason schedule, which also includes the Rockford IceHogs hosting the AHL All-Star Classic presented by BMO on Feb. 10-11.
