Condors' Hutson named AHL Rookie of the Month for DecemberTheAHL.com

Springfield, Massachusetts … American Hockey League announced today Bakersfield Condors forward Quinn Hutson has been selected as Upper Deck AHL Rookie of the Month December.

In December, Hutson had nine goals and four assists for 13 points in eight games with Bakersfield, while also scoring his first career NHL goal.

Hutson scored twice in the Condors' 5-1 victory over Tucson on December 3 and had a goal and an assist in a 4-0 victory over Henderson on December 6. On December 13, he scored two goals and an assist in an 8–7 overtime victory over Tucson, his fifth three-pointer of the season, and was recalled to Edmonton on December 18, where he played three games and scored one goal. In Boston. Hutson returned to the Condors on Dec. 27 with a goal and an assist against San Diego and scored twice in a 7-3 win over Coachella Valley on New Year's Eve.

Hutson, who turns 24 on Thursday, signed with the Oilers as a free agent on April 14, 2025, after three seasons at Boston College. The North Barrington, Ill., native leads all AHL rookies with 19 goals and 32 points in 26 games with Bakersfield and is tied for fourth in the league in scoring.
