Flyers acquire Tomasino, send Zamura to Penguins TheAHL.com

Philadelphia Flyers acquire forward Phil Tomasino Acquired defenseman from Pittsburgh Penguins Yegor Zamura.

The 24-year-old Tomasino played 14 games for the AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins this season, scoring 5 goals and 10 assists for 15 points, and contributed 1 assist in 9 NHL games with Pittsburgh.

The sixth-year pro has played 103 games in the AHL with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Milwaukee and Chicago, scoring 41 goals and 56 assists for 97 points.

Tomasino, who was originally Nashville's first-round pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, has 34 goals and 61 assists for 95 points in 218 NHL games with the Predators and Penguins.

Zamura, 25, has two assists in three games since joining the AHL's Lehigh Valley Phantoms. He started the season with one assist in 13 NHL games with Philadelphia.

Zamura played 130 games in the AHL, all with Lehigh Valley, tallying five goals and 51 assists in six professional seasons. He also had eight goals and 33 assists in 168 NHL games with the Flyers.
