Rockford IceHogs | IceHogs and BMO Center unveil new LED dashboard

Rockford, IL – The Rockford IceHogs announced today that BMO Center will feature new, state-of-the-art digital dashboards that will be unveiled during the team’s games Saturday, December 27 Game vs. Texas Stars 7pm
BMO Center is one of the first venues in North America to display these 360-degree LED panels, and the first to display from competitive sports systemthe world leader in hockey dashboards and arena systems. The boards surrounding the playing field at BMO Center will provide an incredible entertainment experience for IceHogs fans and corporate partners.
“We are excited to light up the BMO Center with Athletica Crystalplex Live LED digital dashboard technology,” said IceHogs President of Business Operations. Ryan Snyder. “Over the past five years, BMO Center has spent more than $30 million in improvements focused on improving the overall fan experience, including major technology upgrades last summer to video production and smart lighting equipment. Now, with the addition of backlit LED panels, the entire visual experience of an IceHogs game will come to life, from the ice to the rafters and everywhere in between.”
This announcement is one of many upgrades BMO Center has made over the past five years and is a testament to the investment in the downtown arena by the City of Rockford, the Chicago Blackhawks, IceHogs, Winnebago County, the State of Illinois and RAVE (Rockford Regional Venues and Entertainment Authority).
