Laurent Brosuite Rockford scored the 25th goal in NHL history by a goalie in a 5-3 win over Milwaukee on Friday night at BMO Center.
Brossoit, who received strength training from the IceHogs from the Chicago Blackhawks and is working his way back from an injury that sidelined him for the entire 2024-25 season, fired a shot from behind his own goal line into an empty net with 1:04 left. Brosoit is the third goaltender to score in the AHL, joining the IceHogs Colin Delia 2021 and Jackson Stauber 2024.
Brosoit also made 33 saves in the win, his second in three starts since joining the IceHogs.
