Austin Reeves takes hilarious shot at LeBron James after his season debut

LeBron James' highly anticipated season debut has already gone down in history, and his teammates couldn't help but laugh at him.
With LeBron returning to the South Bay Lakers (the team's G-League affiliate) last week, Austin Reeves couldn't help but give it a try.
James had 11 points, 12 assists and only one turnover in his first game of the year.
“That's a pretty good G-League player over there,” Reeves joked, according to The Athletic's Jovan Buha. “G developed him.”
The guard also made it clear that LeBron doesn't need any time to “fit in.”
“Yeah. I think he had 12 assists and one turnover. Not bad at all,” Reeves said, via LakesNation . “It's not as good as mine [ratio] One to four…but no, he's playing the game the right way. I think he talked yesterday about trying to recover his lungs and he seemed fine. He moves up and down the floor very well. He's a great player (laughs). “
LeBron made history that night, becoming the first player in NBA history to play 23 seasons, and Reeves was completely in awe.
“Oh, yeah, I mean, if you told me to play 23 years, even if I started when he started,” Reeves said. “There's absolutely no way. He gives everything to basketball. He walks into the room every day and he's the happiest guy there. He wants to be there, he has a smile on his face, he acts like a 12-year-old kid having a great time. It's a beautiful thing because it brings energy to everyone in the locker room.”
