The latest Anthony Davis trade rumors after Nico Harrison was fired

Now that the general manager who brought Anthony Davis to Dallas is gone, will AD be traded?
There are rumors in the league, andEAMS has begun internal discussions trading for ADsaid Zach Lowe.
“There will be anthony davis trading “They talked about some seriousness,” Lowe said. “Whether they can come to a deal or not is hard to say. My bet is yes.”
Mark Stein also provided some intel.
“After Harrison was ousted, there was no indication that he would try to force his way out, just because Harrison, who openly loved him and wanted to be built around him, was suddenly fired,” Stan said on his substack.
He added, “The Mavericks are believed to be working with Davis' team over the next two-plus months to decide whether to pursue an in-season trade. Davis' agent Rich Paul and Mavericks owner Patrick Dumont have developed a relationship of regular contact since being introduced during the Mavericks' play-in victory in Sacramento in April.”
Should the Mavericks blow it up?
Building a new core around Cooper Flagg is a great option because let's face it, this current team isn't winning any championships.
Yahoo Sports Kevin O'Connor is all about house cleaning:
“The Mavericks have to go all out to increase their chances of landing the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. They have to trade Anthony Davis. They have to trade Kyrie Irving once he's healthy. They have to trade Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion. They have to trade D'Angelo Russell. And field call young veterans like P.J. Washington, Caleb Martin, Daniel Gafford and Najib Marshall. Everyone but Cooper Flagg should be banned.”
O'Connor added, “The Mavericks have their first pick in 2026 and then don't have their pick again until 2031 (the Thunder can trade with them in 2028 and the Spurs can trade with them in 2030). So this is really their last chance to get into the lottery and find a co-star for Flagg.”
Who can perform AD transactions?
Bulls are a team that monitors potential players anthony davis trading Evan Sideli reports that the pursuit is ongoing.
Why? Because Chicago has nearly $90 million in expiring contracts, plus all of their draft picks.
A Sports Illustrated trade proposal would send Anthony Davis back to Chicago along with Klay Thompson and Dante Exum.
And Dallas gets some much-needed draft picks as well as Nikola Vucevic, Kevin Huerter and Coby White – all of whom are on expiring contracts.
Dallas gets: Coby White, Nikola Vucevic, Kevin Huerter, Patrick Williams, 2028 unprotected first-round pick, top 4 protected first-round picks in 2030
Chicago gets: Anthony Davis, Klay Thompson, Jaden Hardy, Dante Exum, 2030 second-round pick (via PHI)
Other destinations mentioned in rumors include the Grizzlies, Raptors, Heat and Warriors.
This saga is far from over…
