Mike Brown responds to Giannis-Knicks rumors

With the NBA season approaching, Antetokounmpo trade rumors have begun again.
Giannis Knicks rumors are heating up again thanks to Shams Charania.
“Several teams were discussed internally, but one was the only team Antetokounmpo wanted to play outside of Milwaukee: the New York Knicks, multiple sources with direct knowledge of the situation told ESPN.
League sources said, “The Bucks received an invitation from the Knicks for Antetokounmpo, and the two sides held conversations for a period of time in August, but the two teams never made any progress on a deal.”
SNY's Ian Begley also provided some intel of his own in support of Shams. Revealed that the idea of winning a championship with the Knicks in New York is appealing to the Bucks star.
But the road to New York wasn't easy.
“Either the Bucks work with Giannis here at his preferred destination, or things are going to get a little messy,” Begley explained. “He has trade demands and uses his potential extension to dissuade other teams from trading him, thereby creating a path for the Knicks.”
During the team's practice on Tuesday, Mike Brown was asked about the Bucks and Knicks' August trade talks.
His response: “I don't talk about that. We're in a good spot right now. Our guys have been working their butts off. They're starting to pick up on what we do defensively; offensively we're getting more comfortable – especially trying to play faster. That's what I'm focused on right now. Like I said, I love our guys and I think they're starting to enjoy the way we play on both ends of the court.”
Shams said Giannis is expected to “keep his options open depending on how the Bucks start the season.”
It seems the Bucks have taken notice.
