Paul George believes Luka Doncic

Paul George has seen a lot of Luka Doncic, who believes that the Lakers guard is on a trajectory that can one day erode international basketball legends.
George said on a recent episode of podcast P: “We're talking about being the biggest international player.” That's over the goats, you know what I mean? He's tough, he's a big fan of Luka.

Doncic is only 26 years old, but already has a resume and few players can match at his age.
Since joining the league in 2018, he has won five All-Star nods, five All-NBA picks, 2024 Scoring Championships and 2019 Rookie of the Year Award. Over seven seasons, he averaged 28.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 7.7 assists, shooting 46.8% from the field.
Still, his achievements lag behind George's international idol. Hakeem Olajuwon's case depends on two champions, one MVP and two Defensive Player of the Year Awards.
Dirk Nowitzki collects MVP, NBA champion and 14 All-Star games. Steve Nash won back-to-back MVPs, while today’s stars Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo have combined five MVPs and multiple titles.
Doncic hasn't captured an MVP or NBA title yet, but that may change soon. This season was his first full campaign with the Lakers, where he joined LeBron James, Austin Reeves and Deander Ayton in pursuit of the championship game, and even LeBron in the league last season.
