Knicks keep an eye on Guinness's situation: Report

Giannis Antetokounmpo trade rumors are starting to attract people again and the Knicks are paying close attention.

According to James L. Edwards III of Track and Field, New York has been “surveillance” on Antetokounmpo's situation in Milwaukee.

“My understanding is that Leon Rose and the company have been monitoring Giannis Antetokounmpo's situation in Milwaukee, even before the offseason starts,” Edwards wrote. “Many people across the league think the Knicks are interested in the hunting of the stars, and although this opportunity has not yet popped up, I certainly believe if the right situation comes up, it's in the card.”

Given the all-around Antetokounmpo, but the future of the Bucks, B/R's Grant Hughes made an interesting trade proposal.

New York Knicks received: Giannis Antetokounmpo

Milwaukee Bucks receive: Danny Wolf’s Karl-Anthony Towns, 2026 first round swap (NYK), 2028 first round swap (worst for NYK and BKN), 2030 first round swap (NYK)

The Brooklyn Nets received: Josh Hart, 2026 second round draft pick (MIL by NYK), 2026 second round draft pick (minimum by NYK)”

Rumors continue to fly as Giannis has not yet confirmed his position on the Bucks.

ESPN Insider Shams Charania is the main driver.

“There's nothing mean about whether Giannis Antetokounmpo stays in Milwaukee, or whether he wants to leave somewhere else,” Charania shared this week. “He's evaluating his future throughout the offseason. I reported in mid-May that he's open to whether his best health is in Milwaukee or in the trade. The process continues. He has some conversations with his inner circle.

“A big question surrounding his camp is around Giannis Antetokounmpo, can he win another title?
