Monsters added Matteau as assistant coach | theahl.com

Columbus blue jacket has been named Stefan Matteau Assistant coach of the club's American Hockey League member Cleveland Monsters.

Matteau started his coaching career in 12 seasons as a professional, culminating with the Monsters in 2024-25. He skated in 411 professional AHL games with Cleveland, Colorado, Chicago, St. John and Albany, with a total of 76 goals and 93 assists and 169 points.

Matteau was the Devil's first-round draft pick in the 2012 NHL Draft, playing 92 games with Columbus, Colorado, Las Vegas, Montreal and New Jersey in the NHL, with six goals and five assists.
