Pittsburgh Penguins have obtained goalkeeper Artūrsšilovs Garners from Vancouver for Moving Chase Stillman and the fourth round pick in the 2027 NHL draft.

Šilovs will earn the 2024-25 season, in which he won the Jack A. Butterfield Trophy and became the most valuable player in the Calder Cup playoffs as he won the Abbotsford Canucks. The 24-year-old Šilovs scored 2.01 in 24 playoffs with an average of 2.01 in 2.01 in 2.01 in 21 regular season games for Abbotsford in 21 regular season games, with a savings of 0.931.

Šilovs also competed in 10 games in the 2024-25 Vancouver game, posting a 2-6-1 record with a savings percentage of 3.65 GAA and .861.

The Šilovs played 110 professional games in the AHL game with Abbotsford and Manitoba for five years, closing with 59-35-12 at 2.58 GAA, with a saving percentage of .906 and 9. In 19 NHL games with the Canucks, the Šilovs were 8-8-2 and the GAA was 3.13, with a percentage saving of .880. He made 10 appearances in the 2024 Stanley Cup playoffs, helping Vancouver enter the second round.

Šilovs represented his native Latvia in several international competitions, most notably the 2023 IIHF World Championship, when he was named the MVP of the Championship because Latvia won the bronze medal, the best ever.

The Šilovs were originally selected by Vancouver in the sixth round of the 2019 NHL Draft.

Stillman, 22, is the first-round pick for New Jersey at the 2021 NHL Draft. He was acquired by Pittsburgh on March 7, 2025 and had a total of 4 goals and 8 assists in 65 AHL games against Utica and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in 2024-25.

As a rookie with Utica in 2023-24, Stillman scored 14 goals and 10 assists in 54 AHL games.
