Mavericks open to sign LeBron James conditions

The Dallas Mavericks may not be ready for a blockbuster deal for LeBron James, but they have reportedly been following his situation in Los Angeles.
“Dallas, I was told they would only be interested in LeBron [James] In the case of acquisition.

The 40-year-old won his $52.6 million player choice with the Lakers last week, but his future with the team remains the league's conversation point. This is mainly because recent comments from his agent Rich Paul suggest that James' commitment is related to conditions.
The Lakers have made multiple rosters this week, including signing center Deandre Ayton and forward Jake Laravia. However, their ability to provide a lineup of champion slogans around Brown remains questionable.
McMenning pointed out that trade involving James would be complicated. “Let's keep coming up with that because I don't think it's getting enough attention. His son is on the Lakers. So is he going to go away from his son's deal?” McManing said, referring to Brownie James' position on the Lakers' roster.
Given his history with Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis, the Mavericks might have attracted him if James did play free agents.
However, according to McMenamin, any Dallas pursuit is currently dependent on LeBron's trade.
