Others speculated: “Justin Trudeau deliberately wore these shoes so the world could talk about him again.”

In January, Trudeau announced his resignation as prime minister, once elected to another leader. Mark Carney Trudeau has been selected as his backup in March since 2015, and Trudeau officially resigned after serving.
