CEO Freixe says Nestlé refocuses on core business

Story: Swiss food giant Nestlé will focus on its core business after diversified types of products “destroy the company’s structure.”

This is according to its boss, Laurent Freixe, who took over the company in September.
He told the Financial Times that in segments like health supplements, its core brands are ignored in coffee, Petcare and food.
He said he only saw the merits of weakening the organization's portfolio where Nestlé couldn't win.
In another interview earlier this week, Friexe revealed that Nestlé, a brand owner, including Nescafe and Kitkat, is restoring market share in the U.S.

Friexe leads the Nestlé brand as the “right path” with the attitude of “mergers and acquisitions are not strategies”.
