Google talks about laptop upgrades by making Google I/O 2025 talk

Google used news from I/O developer conferences this year to show what NotebookLM can do. AI-driven research and note-taking tools have been around for years, but as AI technology improves, the company has injected more and more features. To showcase these features, Google has created a notebook with news from I/O 2025, including YouTube videos for keynotes (including transcripts for the entire event), press releases, blog posts, and even product demos. You can access all of this because the company uploads them as a laptop power source, but you can also use AI tools to digest all the information for you.

You can ask anything about the event in the chat box so that you can quickly find the details of the information you want to know. For example, when I asked what a laptop was, it gave me a response that was consistent with what was announced during the event. The tool replied: “According to Google’s announcement on I/O, laptops become ‘experts’ by tucking their responses into the materials provided and providing innovative information to convert information.”

Under the Studio section of its interface, you will be able to generate an audio overview that provides a quick or more comprehensive verbal summary of the information you upload. You can also create a mind map that visually summarizes the source of the upload, showing a main topic targeting several smaller topics and related ideas. Mind maps are designed to build information in a way that is easier to understand and remember. However, Google reminded its announcement, but, “like all AI, laptops can create inaccuracies”, which is something to keep in mind when using the tool.

Google has released the official app for the tool in I/O 2025, which you can now download on Android or iOS. To view your company's I/O 2025 laptop, you must log it into your Google account.
