Bill Maher tearfully said to Trump with the “ultimate” double standard: “If Obama did…”
Bill Maher has been trapped in President Donald Trump for potentially accepting $400 million jets from Katar, noting that the expected Air Force replacement will be his fourth aircraft – although children may still have fewer toys due to its expensive tariff policy.
Trump launched a huge levy on all U.S. imports last month, portraying the policy as a crusade to revive American manufacturing. He recently dismissed the relevant financial problems, saying that children only need to reduce dolls in the future.
Trump says he won't use it [the plane] People don't believe it when he leaves the office,” Maher said in an open “real-time” monologue on Friday: “not the “use it” part, but the “get out of the office” part. But, OK, so Trump has four planes now. ”
“He has two air forces provided by the government,” Mach continued. “Then he had his own plane. Now he already has this plane. Four planes, but everyone else still has only three dolls and 10 pencils.”
Trump said the plane would be a gift from the Department of Defense and briefed the matter a source told Reuters that he eventually donated it to Trump's presidential library after his resignation. The luxury jet will be one of the most valuable gifts ever made by the U.S. government and has attracted bipartisan attention.
Despite the president's defense of his “free” gift on social media, Democrats, and even some Republicans, have raised moral concerns about the plane.

Maher speculates how rights will react if the same happens to former President Barack Obama. The Democrat was famous by Republican critics in 2014 because he only wore a tan suit at a second administration press conference.
“They gave it to me [Trump] Mach, who he accepted, said: “He thought it was a $400 million aircraft. Because if Obama did it, Fox News would endlessly call it “God's force.” So I think I would call it “God's force.” ”
Maher has been a long-time Trump critic, but accepted a dinner invitation from the president earlier this year. Comedians and political experts returned to his HBO show the following week and called Trump “kind and measured” and strongly opposed it from critics.
