If you are listening to music or podcasts and want to change the volume without unlocking your iPhone, you might press the button on the side of your phone. When the buttons increase or decrease the amount of fixed amounts, they may allow you to choose between a slightly too high or a little quieter volume. However, if you keep your iPhone in the latest iOS version, you can bring the volume bar back to the lock screen so that you can control the volume more accurately without unlocking the iPhone.
When Apple released iOS 18.2 in December, this update allowed you to bring the volume bar back to the iPhone's lock screen. How to get the volume bar on iPhone
1. Open set up.
2. Tap Accessibility.
3. Tap Audio and vision Below hearing.
4. Click toggle next to Always show volume control.
