Microsoft raises the price of Xbox Series S

Earlier this month, Microsoft announced prices for all SKUs of its Xbox consoles, as well as some accessories and many games. This is the result of “market conditions and rising tariff costs”. The news comes after new tariffs introduced in global goods in the United States. One of the price increases is the Xbox Series S, which is a more affordable option for casual game console players, opposite the X Series X. Its price has risen from $300 now to $380 now, an increase of $80. Still, Amazon is now available at a 24% discount compared to the new price. So now, for a limited time, you can get the console for only $289. This is a new MSRP discount of $91, with a $11 discount listed on consoles listed anywhere before May.

Better on the console
Microsoft has launched a series of marketing campaigns for laptops, TVs and phones translucently and tagged it as “This is Xbox.” The company is turning to its gaming pass subscription and cloud streaming service. Samsung TVs now have a Game Center feature that allows you to access Xbox games from the cloud without the need for a console. However, I think the internet is not yet fast. For graphics-intensive games or FPS that require fast reaction time, you will notice frame drops, resolution ics, and even lags. And if you're not in a major coastal city like New York or Los Angeles, the lag will be worse.
As of now, when you have the best experience on your PC or console, there is nothing like running the game locally. The Xbox can be up to 120 frames per second and has 10 GB of RAM. Compared to the more powerful Xbox Series X, the Xbox Series S is a more affordable entry point in the Xbox ecosystem. The console also comes with a single wireless controller.

Today, the real magic of Xbox is its game pass. With Game Pass, you will be able to access a hundred awesome games in a changing catalog, just like in TV shows and Netflix movies. This is a great way to experiment and play a bunch of games, and you probably don't usually spend money and discover new hidden gems for yourself. You can also use Xbox, Bethesda and Activision (e.g. Doom: The Dark Ages Released this week.
Keep going, saving $91 or $11 on your new Xbox Series consoles, depending on your appearance.
