Cold video shows 2 younger brothers dealing with guns and then pulling the trigger

A shocking videotape captured two younger brothers passing a full gun back and forth, and even pulled the trigger to New Mexico police earlier this year.
The 7- and 9-year-old took turns dealing with Albuquerque guns at around 12:30 p.m. on February 16.
The drone footage shared by authorities shows the brothers, one wearing a Minecraft T-shirt and the other wearing Star Wars, hiding the weapon behind them.
The body camera footage shows, “Let it go, baby,” one deputies heard one in the video say, yelling at the two of them at once to drop the gun immediately.
Sheriff John Allen said deputies fired a non-fatal round that distracted the boy, after which one pointed out and fired the gun but the gun appeared, but according to the Albuquerque journal and the Associated Press.
“Our representatives could have taken away deadly force,” said Allen, who said if the gun was out, according to the Wall Street Journal.
“It's not going well with anyone in the country,” he said.
Shortly after a deputy approached the boy and was able to pick up the gun, according to the sheriff's office. The brothers were quickly detained without any harm and the gun was caught.
No arrests in ongoing investigation
As of May 12, as of May 12, no arrests have been made, according to Sheriff Connor Otero. The boys remain in custody of their parents, according to the Journal.
Otero said the criminal charges are underway to investigate the incident that led to it.
The sheriff's office said in a press release that its drone technology allowed representatives to “fast and safely protect the area, ultimately preventing encounters with the teenagers' potentially deadly forces.”
“This case illustrates the complex intersection of juvenile crime, mental health and public safety,” Sheriff John Allen said in a press release. “We are taking important steps to close the service gap and expand our ability to work with teenagers involved in guns or violent crimes.”
