Ticketmaster is proud to announce that it will comply with the law and display upfront prices

Ticketmaster wants you to know that its “all” is upfront price. In a blog post published Monday, the company successfully announced it was “putting fans first” and paid the fare you see as the first place. Not mentioned in Ticketmaster's announcement: an FTC rule that requires exact changes that happen to take effect today.

The FTC's bipartisan garbage fee rules were finalized in December. It requires on-site event ticketing providers, hotels and rents to “tell consumers in advance the truth about prices and fees.” Starting Monday, they must show full price (tax cuts) more prominently than other pricing information. The law requires this day, which makes Ticketmaster's consumer-friendly policy how to get to Live Nation. (The Lord works in a mysterious way.)

The screen shows the waiting queue for Bruce Springsteen tickets. It says that a person is in front of you.

The company added another convenient feature on Monday that is not legally required. At least theoretically, the new Ticketmaster queue should reduce the frustration of buying tickets. When the event starts selling, you will be queued up and tell you the exact location. The idea is to prevent the bot from snatching everything, even before loading the Dang page.

Once queued, there is no need to mash the F5 or CMD-R. The page will automatically refresh when you queue up and move upwards. For the largest shows, availability and pricing will be updated in real time as you wait.

It's your turn and you'll be notified. If you are on a mobile device, it will be an app alert. If you are using a browser, you will hear the ringtone. So if you have to walk away, shake that volume.

The waiting room is usually open 15 minutes before tickets start selling, so check it as early as possible. For the smoothest process, the company recommends saving your payment information in advance through current email, phone number and billing information.
