Charlotte's checkers beat the Providence Bruins 5-2 to enter the Atlantic Division Finals Sunday afternoon.
The win was the first home team in the series and a meeting was held between the winners of Sunday’s Game 5 between Checkers and Hershey and Lehigh Valley.
