This is not a drill

Rockstar Games gave up a new trailer on Tuesday for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6, which is expected to launch the game on May 26, 2026.
Rockstar also offers more revelation to the story of the upcoming game.
“Jason and Lucia have always known that the deck has piled up for them,” the company wrote online. “But when a relaxing score goes wrong, they find themselves standing in the sunniest part of America, in the middle of a criminal plot, all over Leonda, and if they want to live, they will rely on each other more than ever.”
From the trailer, we see Jason picking up the driving in the deputy city after Lucia is released from prison. Then, when we see two lovebirds kidnap hostages, people load the cargo onto the plane at night and meet with some crooked policemen, I guess.
Honestly, there are a lot more happening in this trailer. There were explosions, battles on planes and chasing through swamps by plane. It's all hot songs by the grand pointer sisters, which makes the trailer feel more fun.
The trailer landed a few days after Rockstar announced that it would push the game's release date to 2026.
While I was a little angry with the game’s release, the latest trailer does look great, and I’d love to give Rockstar more time to finish the game. I wanted a great gaming experience and I would rather wait longer than play something not as good as it was. And if Rockstar knows what to do, make solid games.
