Our knowledge of Spitfire, which made emergency crash land before VE Day celebrations

A fierce man was forced to crash a car in a wilderness a few days ago a few days ago.

The historic plane (with two people on board) turned out from the sky and then fell on Saturday night (May 3) in Kent Seat's crop.

The ground of the crash occurred during the celebrations to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day on Monday, but it is not clear whether the flights of the plane were connected to the event.

Witnesses said the plane was “out of the link above the caravan park” and that “narrow” missed trees before the crash, while video footage showed the plane heading to the ground.

We know

The plane is owned by Fly A Spitfire and confirmed the crash in a statement on its website: “We are aware of the incident involving one of our Spitfire aircraft.

“We can confirm that preventive landings were conducted at non-air sites. The pilots and passengers were not injured and at this stage we have no further information.”

A fire department spokesman said two fire trucks were called to the plane that once landed urgently to participate in the competition. The spokesman said staff helped make the site safe and a person was taken into care of the caregiver.

As the drama unfolds, Sharon Gooda, a 59-year-old witness at the Dallax Caravan and RV Club, said: “We heard the roar of fire, so I stood outside the caravan and watched the two seats as it flew over and turned around again.

“He flew past the caravan park, but then I got back inside and could still hear them. But suddenly, the sound above our heads was very low, loud.”

She added: “It sounds like the engine has been completely cut. He is lucky that he missed the big conifer because he is not far from the distance. It may be worse.

“He could have landed in the Caravan Park – he was really close when he started to catch a fire and landed about 100m away.”

The Air Accident Investigation Department (AAIB) said it had notified the incident and although the team has not been sent to the scene of the accident, it will investigate with the operator to understand the reasons for the loss of power.

We don't know

I don't know what exactly happened to cause an emergency landing. Although witnesses reported the sound of a plane's fire, the company owned the company issued only statements confirming a “preventive landing” and that the pilot and passengers were not injured.

It is also not known whether the flights performed by Spitfire are related or unrelated to the upcoming VE Day celebrations.

In the effort to mark Ve Day, more than 20 aircraft will be taking part in the Buckingham Palace, including the Lancaster bomber of World War II, with red arrows.

Some reports suggest that flying is being practiced with the landed fierce fire, but this has not been confirmed.

It also doesn't know who was flying the plane and who the passengers were.
