JJ Redick announces that Lakers must be in the form of “Champion”

In his first playoff as head coach, Redick directly touched on everything that wasn't enough – especially when it comes to regulation.
“I’m going to start from the offseason and the offseason where the job of the championship needs,” Reddick said Thursday at a post-play media conference. “And we have a roster approach. Of course, some people are in amazing shapes. Of course, there are others who might be in better shapes. That's what I think, this is where I go right in, we have to win the championship.”
Redick didn't go out single (although one of the Mavericks' complaints about Luka Doncic going out was his condition), he didn't need it.
In just four minutes of JJ Redick's game 4, JJ Redick replaced center Jaxson Hayes, and then placed him entirely in Game 5 – without hiding it: The Lakers were exposed in paint.
Wolf big man Rudy Gobert completely dominated the series drivers with 27 points and 24 rebounds, while Los Angeles' lack of body shape is obvious.
“I think when you trade a huge deal on the deadline, you trade the starting center as a point guard, that will create a big problem with the lineup and we see some of it play a role,” Rob Pelinka said of the blockbuster Donnisey Davis trade. “We know that one of our main goals this offseason is to add dimensions in the center.”
The front desk tried to address the deadline gap, almost landing 7-foot Mark Williams from Charlotte.
But the deal collapsed after Williams failed to make his body fail.
Pelinka keeps things within the league, but doesn't block information.
“There are some NBA rules that prohibit us from talking to specific trades, but I’m generally speaking, it’s obvious, it’s obvious…this roster needs a bigger scale and needs a center,” he said. “It’s a very obvious and obvious by-product that the deal is probably the best big by-product in the Dallas league to get point guards. Of course, that will open a huge hole.”
“Trade deadlines and moments do not allow you to have the time necessary to explore every stone that doesn’t pass through to add to our lineup. We just don’t have time after the Lucca trade.
