He was convicted of sexual assault on a minor and sentenced to 400 years in prison

A 29-year-old man was sentenced to 400 years in prison for sexual assault on a minor girl.
Brandon Xiong was found guilty of sexual assault by four girls between the ages of 5 and 10, according to the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office. The victims were invited to spend the night at Xiong's home and while they were sleeping, they were taken into the secluded part of the house where Xiong sexually assaulted them. One of the victims disclosed the abuse to her mother in October 2018, which led to investigators discovering other victims.
The District Attorney's Office's press release did not provide a news release about overnight conditions and why girls were allowed to stay in Xiong's home. The office did not immediately return a request for comment from The Times.
Last week, Xiong was convicted of nine felony counts: three counts of forced blackmail against a child, two counts of sexual acts with a child under the age of 10, three counts of blackmail against a child and another count of contacting a minor for felony.
In addition to felony charges, Xiong has gained augmentation of multiple victims, which leads to a continuous jail term for each sexual offence against different victims, or in different circumstances, every sexual offence committed against the same victim.
Officials said Beige had been previously convicted of first-degree burglary. There are three laws in California that could increase the chances of tougher judgments. A third strike could mean 25 years in prison.
Xiong's 400-year prison sentence is one of the few cases of long imprisonment for sexual assault crimes in California.
In 2023, Daniel Ramirez Gutierrez, 36, was charged with 19 counts of sexual assault and one adult sexual assault in San Luis Obispo and Contra Costa counties. He was sentenced to 435 years in a state prison. In 2016, a 41-year-old Fresno man was sentenced to 1,503 years for raping his teenage daughter for four years.
According to the District Attorney's Office, Xiong can serve at least 400 years in prison.
