How do you add more “infinite”? As carriers provide unlimited discussions, text and data on wireless plans, Xfinity Mobile’s answer is to launch a new advanced unlimited plan that includes high-resolution streaming, 30GB of fast hotspot data per month, and the ability to upgrade devices twice a year for customers to view the latest phones.

The Advanced Unlimited Plan costs $30 per line on the required Xfinity Internet service, including unlimited full-speed data. This is an improvement over the regular unlimited plan, which puts data speeds into the future after 30GB.
For mobile hotspot usage, the Advanced Unlimited Plan includes 30GB of data, then slows down. In contrast, the Unlimited Plan only offers slower speeds, although both of these plans provide you with unlimited hotspot data so you won't be cut off.
The Advanced Unlimited Plan is also a 4K resolution video stream (the Unlimited Plan only offers 480p standard resolution) and Xfinity Call Guard Service for intercepting spam calls.
Xfinity Mobile uses Verizon's network for 5G and 4G LTE cellular access, but also relies heavily on the home and business Internet services base it installs, with its modems twice as many as public Wi-Fi hotspots. Both the Advanced Unlimited Plan and Unlimited Plan have WiFi PowerBoost that automatically jumps into Wi-Fi connections and delivers faster speeds up to 1GB, according to Xfinity.
The company notes that over 90% of mobile data traffic occurs on Wi-Fi. If you are connected at home (and your XFINITY service uses XB7 or XB8 gateway to route data), your phone can also get faster speeds, even if you don't pay for that level of bandwidth.
Keep up to date with your phone
If you know the person who replaces the latest model of your phone every year, you can put it in the word by using the Advanced Unlimited Plan. The company said the new Elite upgrade option allows for twice a year and is “guaranteed a discount of $830 on new devices and a $830 pass through a qualified transaction.”
For those who switch from another carrier, Xfinity Mobile will pay up to $500 per line to purchase an existing contract.
