Germany's Red Cross seeks aid from slamming Myanmar

The German Red Cross plans to send its first aid goods to Myanmar on Wednesday after a deadly earthquake that hit the country in late March.

Initially, it will be loaded on a truck near Berlin and shipped to Belgium's Legi Airport, which includes tents, sanitation kits, blankets and tools, including tents, sanitation kits, blankets and tools.

Aid will fly from there to Yangon, Myanmar, where it will be distributed locally by the Myanmar Red Cross.

According to the military government, the magnitude 7.7 earthquake hit Southeast Asian countries in late March and claimed thousands of lives.
