Syracuse crunched the berth in the 2025 Calder Cup playoffs Wednesday night, beating the Hershey Bears in 3-2 overtime.
Syracuse will make its seventh straight playoff game and become the top development branch of Tampa Bay Lightning in 11 attempts. Crunch reached the Calder Cup finals in 2013 and 2017.
Five North District teams will be eligible for the playoffs. The top three will reach the semi-finals, while the fourth and fifth teams will meet in three best first-round series.
