Nico Harrison has no regrets, not even a player

Dallas general manager Nico Harrison introduced some options from the media, and the Luka Doncic-Anthony Davis trade is a big topic of discussion.
Harrison confirmed that although the Lakers directly voted for the playoffs and the Mavericks will compete with him in the game, he has no regrets.
“The deal is not regretful,” Harrison said. “Part of me is doing the best things for the Mavericks, not only today but in the future, some of the decisions I'm going to make will be unpopular. It's my job and I have to stick with it.”
GM was asked to his almost appeal to fans across Dallas to be fired.
“Well, the beauty of Dallas is that it's a passionate fan base,” he said. In order for us to reach our goal, we need that fan base. Honestly, every deal I've made since I've been here hasn't been considered a good deal, so it sometimes takes time. When I traded for Kyrie, it got a lot of skepticism, it was a lot of skepticism, and it was seen as a horrible deal, you didn't see it right away, but everyone agreed to the deal, it was a good deal. This is my deal. [Gafford] and [Washington] Again, it was like, 'Oh, he gave up too much. These guys won't help us. Now, your deal will see evidence soon. So, I think a lot of transactions will take some time.
“But, as I said, our philosophy is that defense wins the championship, and we are based on defense. For this, this trade solidifies us.”
He was also asked about how the logic of the team’s time frame that could not control the first round pick ended, which was in the franchise’s long-term best interest.
“We believe in the moves we made,” Harrison replied. “You obviously aren't, that's good. You have the right to comment, but we're excited. … I think that once we win, that will change your mind.”
GM has three years left for the contract, and he said he has completed it.
