The 40-year-old Anastas joined the Wolves coaching staff on August 28, 2024 and helped the team enter the Calder Cup playoffs last season. This year the club is tied for third in the Central Division with a record of 11 wins, 7 draws, 3 losses and 1 (26 points).
Prior to joining the Wolves, Anastas served as a head coach for international games in Greece and China, as well as a scout for the AHL's Manitoba Moose. The Toronto native also served as head coach of the ECHL's Brampton Beast and South Carolina Stingrays. at the University of Lethbridge; and competed internationally with the national teams of Serbia, Estonia and South Korea.
In 2013, Anastas won the Calder Cup as an assistant coach with the Grand Rapids Griffins.
