Prince Harry visits Ukraine in surprise to meet with war victims

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex Ukraine Thursday, a rehabilitation clinic was visited for injured soldiers.
Harry, who served in the British Army for 10 years, visited the Superhuman Centre in the western city of Lviv and met with patients and medical professionals.
The clinic treats and helps recover military personnel injured in the ongoing war with Russia, which has been raging in the country since February 2022. The facility provides prosthetics, reconstruction surgery and psychological assistance.
The Duke of Sussex joins Invictus Games Foundation, The charity he founded in 2014 helps injured veterans through sports competitions.

Rob Owen, CEO of Invictus Games Foundation, said Ukraine is a “critical part” of the charity's work. “This visit reaffirms our dedication to standing with those who live after the injury,” he said in a press release.
Ukraine's surprise trip was announced only after he left the country. During his visit, Khali also met with Ukraine’s senior affairs minister Natalia Kalmykova.
Earlier this week, the Duke of Sussex appeared in London's Royal Court as part of a case in personal safety in the UK after he withdrew from the royal duties in 2020.
