In his first interview since becoming the Second Lady, Usha Vance said JD Vance's world was “very lonely”.

She told The Times that her husband was so busy that most of the chats these days were on text messages. “I don’t know he asked me for advice because it could be a very lonely, lonely world rather than sharing it with someone.”

Usha also revealed that they encountered a lot of stuff at Yale in a discussion group called “Social Decline in White America” - a lot of stuff to unpack – and complained about the boo she and JD faced around boo when she and JD attended the recent concert.
