Openai relationship with Microsoft may become sour: WSJ

Story: Openai's close relationship with Microsoft may become sour.

The Wall Street Journal said Chatgpt Maker has considered accusing Tech Titan of anti-competitive behavior.

It said the move could involve a federal review of the link between the two and the open campaign to the matter.

Openai needs Microsoft's blessing to complete its transition to Public Ford.

But months of conversation between the two failed to reach a consensus.

It is said that in an attractive view, this is the future interest that Microsoft has.

Technical publication The information says OpenAI hopes Windows Maker will earn a 33% share of the restructuring unit in exchange for the right to future profits.

It also reportedly wants to modify the terms to give Microsoft a proprietary right to host OpenAI models in its cloud.

The information says that these two issues have not been resolved.

Microsoft invested its initial $1 billion in OpenAI in 2019.

But chatbot manufacturers have been looking for ways to reduce their reliance on the heavyweight of technology since then.

Reuters reported earlier this month that Sam Altman's company plans to start using the alphabet to improve its computing power.
