South Korean retailer Lotte unveiled Lotte-Mart Zetta, a new online grocery app powered by the Ocado Smart Platform (OSP).
The launch is a result of ongoing collaborative efforts between Ocado Group and Lotte, which began in November 2022.
Ocado's OSP is an end-to-end e-commerce, implementation and logistics solution designed for online grocery retailers.
The solution leverages the development of AI, robotics and automation to promote operational excellence and excellent customer experience.
“Through the synergy between Lotte Mart's grocery competitiveness and Ocado's cutting-edge technology, we will be a core brand with an overwhelming advantage in the domestic online food market and reborn as No. 1 in the first and offline grocery markets,” said Kang Sung-hyun, Lotte Mart and Super CEO.
Ocado Group and Lotte plan to build a network of six automated customer fulfillment centers (CFCs) in South Korea and integrate Ocado-powered AI-powered in-store fulfillment solutions into Lotte’s retail stores.
The first CFC will start operations in the Busan area in early 2026.
The website, and subsequent websites, will be equipped with Ocado's state-of-the-art RE: Imaginary automation technology.

In April 2024, Okan Retail Poland announced that it lives with OSP.
