The Trump regime tested the FEMA chief detector because that was just the reality of our lives now
A new Politico report shows that the FEMA's acting chief recently conducted a test detector test to determine whether he leaked the press about the Trump regime's plan to destroy the Federal Disaster Agency. While this may seem like a very strange thing for senior officials who should carry out crucial government work, it is just another footnote to the rapid arrival of fascism in the United States.
After a meeting with former South Dakota Governor and current Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on March 25, FEMA Acting Chief Executive Cameron Hamilton held a lie detector test on March 25. Corey Lewandowski, who was also advised to President Donald Trump at the meeting, was said to be a “special government employee” unlike Elon Musk. CNN's disclosure at its March 26 report meeting was clearly considered betrayal.
The Department of Homeland Security appears to confirm that the detector test was conducted in a statement to Politico, warning that the “leakers” would be prosecuted. However, the results of the polygraph test are not yet clear.
“Under Secretary General Noem, the Agency for Homeland Security (DHS) has no apology for it to take root in leakers who undermine national security. We are agnostic about your status, tenure, political appointments or status as a professional civil servant – we will track leakers and prosecute and prosecute to the maximum extent of the law,” ADHS Spokespers told Politico.
President Trump has not yet nominated a permanent FEMA administrator, and Hamilton is a former Navy SEAL who has worked in the federal government over the past decade, including the Department of Homeland Security and the State Department. As the New York Times noted, when Hamilton was appointed to the position shortly after Trump’s inauguration on January 20, Hamilton was considered a strange choice for FEMA chief because of his lack of experience in disaster response.
News about the DHS detector test is that FEMA is in hot water for financial aid to the “blue” country or the 2024 election. A federal judge ordered the suspension of FEMA's federal funds freeze, which drags funds to at least 19 states. On Friday, the judge ruled that the order had been violated. What happens after that? It seems that the judge has not yet discovered that Trump's regime's lawyers have despised it, so nothing has happened. At this point, the judge had just issued another order telling them to comply with the previous order.
This seems to be the asymmetry now happening in one way and the Trump regime on the other. The men sent U.S. residents to El Salvador without a trial and had senior officials take part in lie detector tests. Then your judge is not just saying “Please follow our orders.” This is not very good.
