Lawyer warns Prince Harry's “life is under threat”
The UK's Home Office ruled that he was reluctant to provide Prince Harry with the highest security protection after resigning from his senior royal family in Britain after he resigned in 2020.
In February last year, Prince Harry lost legal challenges to the government's decision to resign from the automatic rights of senior police protection.
The UK’s home office found “there was no basis for publicly funded security support for the Duke and Duchess in the UK.”
In the appeal of the Royal Court, Shaheed Fatima, the Duke of Sussex's lawyer, argued that the decision did not give Prince Harry high safety, and that his life put his life at risk when he was in England.
According to the Independent, “The dimension of the human being must not be forgotten. There is a person sitting behind me, whose safety, safety and life are at risk.”
She continued: “There was a guy sitting behind me and he was told that when he knew and went through an obviously inferior process, he was getting a special customization process.”
Meanwhile, government lawyers opposed Prince Harry's appeal.
“The appeal is characterized by the same,” said government lawyer James Eadie on Tuesday. “This involves the constant inability to see the wood of trees, by reading only a small part of the evidence, and now the proposition can be advanced, and the judgment now, departs from the context and ignores the whole picture.”
A formal written decision is expected to be made on this matter in the future. We have to see if Harry won his appeal.
