Megyn Kelly is frustrated with rumors that Elon Musk's time in Trump's White House may end.
On Wednesday’s episode of “The Megyn Kelly Show,” the host called Musk and his collaboration with Doge a “sad.” She was also shocked that Democrats would celebrate the news.
“I think it’s sad,” Kelly said. “Like, imagine living in the days of Albert Einstein or Thomas Edison, and let them say, ‘I’m going to help solve the problems of the country. I’m happy to get involved, ‘Say, ‘No, we hate you.’ That’s what the left says.
She added: “My own guess, not talking to anyone on the Trump team, which is very difficult for Elon. His Tesla stock is falling. His company is under attack. Now, their company is under attack. They are worried that their cars will be damaged, keys, keys are to be typed, and they have to work on Molotov Cockt. Some crazy guys.

News with Politco on Wednesday broke out, Trump told his inner circle that Musk would resign from his current position before he took on a 130-day mission as a special government employee in late May. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt denied the claim later that day.
“Elon Musk and President Trump both publicly stated that Elon will be separated from public services after his incredible work at Doge is completed,” she said.
SpaceX CEO leads efforts to cut government funding and reshape the federal bureaucracy through Doge. Musk publicly stated that he will continue to keep in touch with government agencies until his work is completed. The tech billionaire said in Fox News' “Special Report with Bret Baier” last week that he was confident of completing most of his claimed goals by the 130-day deadline.
