Severe storms can bring 70 mph winds overnight, chances of tornadoes and large hail
Tennessee is expected Sunday night with strong winds, rain, heavy hail and possible tornadoes, according to the National Weather Service.
“Formerly known as Twitter, the Weather Bureau said, ” “It forms later today in our west later today and then moves tonight and overnight,” the Weather Service said on an article on X. “The storm that causes central Tennessee will have the potential to damage winds, heavy hail and tornadoes. Get ready for a safe place and move it! If a warning is issued, move it! Move it to that place.”
Wind is expected to be 70 miles per hour and hail can be as large as two inches.
When will the bad weather move into the Nashville area?
In Nashville, strong storm systems can begin as early as 9 p.m., with the worst winds, hail, rain and potentially occurring tornadoes occur between 11 a.m. and winds and rains may last until 6 a.m. Monday.
The chances of tornadoes in central Tennessee have also increased. “The tornado may be powerful,” the National Weather Service said.
The storm should have hit Clarksville earlier than 8 p.m. Sunday, with the worst part of the storm happening between 9 p.m. and midnight.

The chances of raining on Monday and Wednesday have decreased, and sporadic showers may continue until Monday. Here is the prediction of the National Meteorological Administration:
