Flohockey AHL Power Ranking: Rochester Americans Stay in

Patrick Williams offers every week throughout the regular season FloHockey AHL Power Ranking List all 32 teams.

The Rochester American is once again ranked AHL Powers for the second straight week. Behind them is Laval Rocket, just in time for the two important games between the two teams this weekend. The stretching has arrived this season.

Check out your favorite teams’ rankings by power and follow them throughout the season to see how your club goes up or falls. You can also view the full AHL ranking here to see how it compares to our FloHockey AHL power rankings.

1) Rochester American (-)

After 10 wins in 12 games, Amerks finally slowed down on the loss of gunfight between Utica and Syracuse. They may be able to leave Laval behind in a pair of road games against the Rockets this weekend. They have won two wins in Bale this season.

2) Laval Rocket (+1)

The schedule at home this week could be a possible challenge – they got a pressing sensation on Wednesday's Eureka Comet ahead of Wednesday's crucial two games with the Amerks at Place Bell. The Northern Section, Eastern Conference and AHL leaders are likely to be at the forefront when the club faces face to face on Friday and Saturday.

3) Hershey Bear (+1)

The Bears had a huge home win against major nemesis Wilkes-Barre/Scranton ahead of their methodical victory the next night against Lehigh Valley. A record-breaking road trip will be underway after Belleville on Wednesday. Just like the Bears' recession after different positions this season, they're still just three points ahead of the AHL.

4) Texas Star (+2)

Texas takes care of Chicago in two games. Remi Poirier has made some tough appearances recently, which is a big step for him. They played 14 games over 29 nights, including this week’s three-quarters Midwest swing, with a major showdown from Milwaukee on Wednesday.

5) Ontario Rule (-3)

Last weekend, the reign brought sniper Samuel Fagemo back to Colorado's continuous nights. Pheonix Copley has had to do a lot of work with Erik Portillo recently. After two home dates this week, Domination will play seven of seven out of eight games, part of the March jam schedule. Last week, Joseph Cecconi set out from Iowa and the Ontario blue line was boosted.

6) Colorado Eagles (+1)

The Trent Miner appears to have locked in the number one spot in the Eagles network. He turned down Ontario in his back-to-back home game last weekend, processing all 55 photos. The Hawks have a 12-1 goal advantage in their last three games against top teams in Texas and Ontario. The six-game trip will open Wednesday in Bakersfield.

7) Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguin (-2)

Joel Blomqvist is back and Tristan Jarry moves to the Pittsburgh Penguin. They finished their seven-game trip and played 3-2-2-0. Next is the NHL trade deadline. How much will Pittsburgh break its lineup and what potential impact will it have on Wilkes Barry/Scranton?

8) Coachella Valley Firebirds (-)

Philipp Grubauer returns with Seattle Kraken, while Nikke Kokko returns to Flamingo after a brief NHL recall. If Seattle chooses to sell large sales on the NHL trade deadline, will any of these moves hit the Coachella Valley roster?

9) Providence Brown Bear (+5)

After hosting Toronto on Friday, P-Bruis found himself as another Eastern Conference team on a long road trip. Theirs are eight people. They also lost some offense, and Max Jones will also trade to the Edmonton Oilers organization.

10) Charlotte chess piece (-1)

The deal took Spencer Knight to the Chicago Blackhawks and was no longer a crowded net after the Florida Panthers recalled experienced Chris Driedger. If the group doesn't have a replacement, Ken Appleby and Cooper Black will handle Charlotte's goalkeeper.

11) Calgary Wrangler (-1)

12) Toronto Maris (-1)

13) Admiral Milwaukee (-1)

14) Cleveland Monster (-1)

15) Springfield Thunderbird (+5)

16) Senator Belleville (-)
