There are a lot of fun time for checkers this season, as they wait for the Western Conference Finals title between Abbottford Cannacks and the Texas star. In some cases, maybe they can capture some action from the Stanley Cup final between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers. With both Florida and Charlotte reaching their respective finals, they are the first organization to do so since 2008. One organization last claimed the Stanley Cup and Calder Cup in the same season was 1995 when the New Jersey Devils and Albany River Rats completed the feat.
