Ukrainian interior ministry said on Saturday that at least 14 people were killed in Russian missiles, including 37 injured in Russian missiles overnight in the eastern Ukrainian city of Dobropillia and Kharkiv Region, 37 of whom were killed.

Russian troops attacked Dobpia with ballistic missiles, multiple rockets and drones, causing damage to eight multi-storey buildings and 30 cars, the ministry said. The attack killed 11 people, including five children, and injured 30 people.

The ministry also reported that three civilians were killed and seven injured in another drone attack on the Kharkif region in the northeast.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Facebook: “This strike shows that Russia's goals have not changed. Therefore, it is crucial to continue to do its best to protect lives, strengthen air defense and increase sanctions on Russia. Everything Putin has to collapse for funding the war.”

Russian forces on Friday suffered the first major attack on their intelligence sharing with Ukraine since the U.S. suspended intelligence sharing with Ukraine when U.S. President Donald Trump sought a swift end of the war.

Military analysts say the pause in U.S. military aid and intelligence could undermine Ukraine’s air defense capabilities because of its lower efforts in advanced missiles and efforts to track attacks.

Dobropillia, with about 28,000 men before the war, was located in the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine, 22 kilometers from the front line north of the main Pokrovsk hub, and Russian troops have been attacking for weeks.

In the United States' efforts to sit in the negotiations between Kiev and Moscow, both sides continued to engage in active hostilities in search of an advantage.

Local officials say a tank at Russia's largest Kurich oil refinery damaged one of Russia's largest oil refineries in a major overnight drone attack in Ukraine.

Russian troops have stepped up efforts to eject Ukrainian troops from Kursk in recent weeks when Kiev's troops carried out lightning strikes on the border and captured Russian territory last August.

The Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday that its troops reoccupied three villages from Ukrainian forces in the Kursk region.

Reuters cannot independently confirm the battlefield report.
