Rangers get Brison from the Golden Knight | theahl.com

New York Rangers have been acquired Brendan Brisson Get a third round pick from the Las Vegas Golden Cavaliers in exchange for a forward in the 2025 NHL Draft Riley Smith.

Brisson, 23, scored 19 points in AHL Henderson Silver Knights this season, scored five goals and 14 assists in 45 games. He also competed in 9 NHL games with Las Vegas in 2024-25.

Brisson was the Golden Knights' first round pick (29th overall) in the 2020 NHL Draft, 102 points in 162 professional AHL games against Henderson. He added two goals and six assists in 24 NHL games against Las Vegas.

Los Angeles native starred in the University of Michigan and skated at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing.
