Kansas City Chiefs fans die allegations that their bodies are found in friend's backyard

Two men were charged Wednesday in the deaths of three Kansas City Chiefs fans, whose bodies were found two days after gathering together to watch the final game of the 2024 regular season.
Jordan Willis and Ivory Carson each charged three counts of involuntary homicide and two counts of providing a controlled substance, amid widespread social media attention. Their bonds are set at just $100,000 in cash.
Ricky Johnson, 38, Clayton McGeeney, 36, and David Harrington, 37, found out on January 9, 2024 in Willis's Kansas City, Missouri, guessing what happened after McGeeney's fiancé went to find him. Based on the possible cause statement, doctors in the forensic lab then determined that the toxicity of fentanyl and cocaine killed them.

Witnesses said friends were using cocaine when they first got together at their home in Harrington, and then watched the Chief play as a Los Angeles charger in Willis on January 7, 2024. Witnesses said he had a history based on possible reasons statements when Willis offered cocaine to his friends at cheap money and bought cocaine from Carson.
But Willis's attorney John Picerno said there was no evidence that Willis bought drugs that his friend had consumed before his death, noting that they were partying all day. He said Willis didn't know they were still in his backyard, or they needed medical assistance – until police showed up.
“It was a very, very long year for Jordan. He lost his job. He lost his home. He lost his friends. The public pointed at the people he killed in essence.
Willis told police he believed McGinney, Harrington and Johnson might have caught some fentanyl sometime on Sunday of the game, and he thought they all left home around 4 a.m. the next morning.
The weather records indicated that the low temperature was about 33 degrees Celsius that night.
The Probable Cause Statement says investigators interviewed Carson, who admitted to selling cocaine to Johnson, Willis, Harrington and McGinney by January 1, 2024. In the online court record, Carson lists any attorney.
In the weeks and months since the deaths of the three, the case has been all the rage on Tiktok and other social platforms for its true criminal overtones. The family members of the three men were frustrated by the Kansas City-area media and asked when the charges were made.
