Five children found in drug-addicted Naples houses arrested for drug trafficking
Five Naples residents were arrested for drug trafficking and property, while several children were at home.
The following suspects were investigated, applied for a search warrant, and arrested by the Naples Police Department's Special Investigation Unit, in coordination with the Collier County Sheriff's Office's Special Response Department:
According to the arrest report, Naples police detectives are monitoring houses in the 500 block of 13th Street North east of Naples River Park, where they observed Dunneback and Salters.
A search of the house made several bags filled with heroin, cocaine and marijuana. Police arrested two people for drug trafficking and possession charges as a result of large amounts of heroin found in the freezer.
The Naples Police Department collected some guns and bags containing various drugs as evidence of this investigation.
Detectives find Perry, Wright and Martin next door to Salters and Dunneback's residence. According to the arrest report, cocaine, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia were found to be consistent with the sale/manufacture of narcotics.
Perry and Wright were arrested on various drug charges.
Martin is a registered convicted felon, found possessing several guns and was charged with possession by a convicted felon.
According to the Naples Police Department, there are also several children inside the two houses, prompting children and families to detain all children present.
“When children are forced to live in these dangerous environments, it's not only illegal — it's unacceptable,” Naples Police Chief Ciro Dominguez said in a message about the arrest.
