Next to Snark, Google's shopping tool that began launching on Wednesday may make it easier for you to find the clothes and makeup you've been looking for.

Once Wee Google Labs experimented, Vision Match had gradually graduated from the mainstream. The AI feature arrives at testers in 2023 and allows you to describe the clothes you depict in your own text and find the best matches. If this sounds like “Google with extra steps”, that's it. But the images generated by AI are the bridge between your words and the products you may end up buying – hope The results produced can better suit your ideas.

Suppose you are looking for a specific piece of clothing and you see a stranger wearing it in public. With visual matching, describe the outfit as vividly as possible (Google's example: “Colorful Midi Dress with Big Daisies”), and then, Gemini-powered AI tools will spit out some images that are suitable for description. If what you see doesn't quite match, you can perfect it from there. Once you select one, you will see real-world products that you can order.

You can find visual matches in several places, but only on your smartphone. One option is to Google this dress (like any other search term) and scroll to the prompt “Can't find it? Create it”. You can also find it in the left panel of the Google Shopping tab under Create & Shop.

Google's AR Beauty feature allows you to show digital representations on their faces in real time, allowing you to “try” your makeup. Today, the company has added the ability to sift through the look of multiple cosmetics (rather than a specific brand) when searching for terms such as “spring makeup” or celebrity look.

“For example, searching for 'soft charm' might give you a variety of neutral eyelashes, rose-colored blush and subtle lip glosses that actually apply to your face,” Google explained.

You can try the AR attempt by tapping “Look at Appearance” when looking for makeup trends or makeup trends inspired by celebrities or influencers.

Finally, Google’s virtual trial tool launched tops in 2023, now supporting pants and skirts. Instead of showing your enhanced live view, this feature shows how the clothes look on the model. Fortunately, they cover the entire human spectrum of shape and size – from XXS to XXL.

“Whether you need a skinny jeans for the night, a silk skirt for the office or a comfortable linen pants for the summer, finding the right style is just a few clicks,” Google said.

You can try this feature by searching for specific pants or skirts on your mobile device or desktop. Look for results that include the “try” badge. From there, you can choose a model that looks like you most (or the person you are shopping) to get a clearer look at how it looks when it reaches the door.
